Law via video and by the Student Convener and Co-convener of the Moot
Court Society, School of Law.
The
session unfolded various dimensions of court room mooting and
enlightened students about how to prepare a good memorial. They briefed
the students about the courtroom ethics and advised them about various
tips and tricks which one should know to excel in a moot court event.
Eventually, the event concluded with a ‘learning while doing’ session,
wherein the students were asked to argue on a fictitious legal problem
and were mentored by the guests on various aspects like ethics, how to
put forward arguments, rebuttal and finally, prayer. The students were
also taught the process of research and its importance in preparing a
Moot Court Memorial. The session turned out to be an effective tool and a
guiding light for budding lawyers.
