OUTBOUND TRAINING AT RURBAN VILLAGE
On 25th
September 2019, the batch of MBA 2018-2020 went for a one day, OUT
BOUND TRAINING at Rurban Village. The students were guided by Dr. Sanjay
Rastogi and Mrs. Deeksha Gupta Ganguly.
The
trip all together brought a different experience for students. On
entering the venue, they were welcomed with Dhol, hearing which all the
students danced enthusiastically. After dancing on the Dhol beats, the
students moved for breakfast.
Moving
forward, all the students were divided into 2 teams. Both the teams had
to compete against each other in various activities such as Archery,
Air Gun, Dart, Gulel, Ring Throw, etc. All the students successfully
completed all the tasks and then proceeded for some other adventurous
activities such as Net Walk, Zig-Zag Walk, Triple Bridge, Ladder Swing, X
Bridge Walk, Tyre Travel, Side Net Walk etc. There were the most
exciting and difficult activities but students as a group accomplished
them as well.
Next,
the students headed towards pottery making and zip line. They learned
how to make clay pots in a traditional way. Zip line was the most
awaited activity in this whole training programme. Another adventurous
activity was Wall Climbing which was the toughest activity amongst the
all. Only few of them were able to climb the 25ft tall wall.
After
enjoying all these adventurous activities, the students proceeded for
lunch. Post lunch there were some cultural shows like Folk Dance, Magic
Show, Circus etc. arranged by Rurban Village people. The students also
played some outdoor games such as volleyball, football, cricket etc.
Then after hi- Tea they left for college by 4.30 p.m.
Overall,
it was a great learning experience for all the students along with fun.
The students learned the importance of working in team, facing
challenges while working in team. Also, the training helped the students
to overcome their fears.
