Sunergos 2020

A dynamic fest organized by the cumulative efforts of all the departments, Sunergos 2020 was the first inter-college fest organized by Christ (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR on 29 February '20. A fest which blossomed the essence of fervor and euphoria in the campus, Sunergos was the platform which facilitated the University to host several esteemed colleges, that enthralled the audience through their scintillating performances. The different teams from the various colleges of Delhi University and others competed against each other with their greatest might in their quest to win the glorious title. The students participated in 3 events namely 1) Street Theater (2) Dance Ada (3) Music Ada. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed judges and our ever-encouraging Fathers, the Director, Rev Fr. Dr. Viju P Devassy, Campus Administrator, Fr. Sunny Joseph and Fr. Anthony Pudhucherry. By 6:00 PM when the event had ended, there was content and happiness in every volunteer

Blossoms’20

Blossoms, a 45-day long journey filled with creativity at Christ (Deemed to be University) Delhi NCR had its grand finale on 28 February, 2020. The students were divided into 3 clusters: Lavender, Lupine, and Orchid, according to their departments. The whole event took place at two levels, Intra-cluster and Inter-cluster. At the Intra-cluster level, the students of each cluster competed within their cluster, followed by the next part of the competition in which the winners from each cluster competed against each other. The competition had 5 major categories of events: Art, Literature, Dance, Music and Theatre events. The whole competition was followed by Dance Extravaganza, where all the students of each cluster had to dance together as a team for at least half an hour. This event brought a sense of belongingness among the students for their respective clusters. AUTHOR WORKSHOP LIBRARY AND INFORMATION CENTRE

A session of Author Workshop organized by Library and Information Centre was held in the Seminar Hall, 3 rd  Floor (Block A) on 19 February 2020 at 12.00 PM. The session was organized to give awareness on how to publish impactful articles.  The session was for the Postgraduate students and Teaching Faculties. Ms. Sangeeta Menon, Publishing Relationship Manager at Emerald Publishing conducted the session. Students from the Department of Psychology and Institute of Management were present for the programme and more than 20 faculties were present for the session. Mr. George Jerish C.J hosted the event. Ms. Sangeeta Menon interacted with the students for about one hour twenty minutes. After the session Dr. Ramesh Kumar Singh (HOD, School of Law) presented a token of our love and gratitude to Ms. Sangeeta Menon. The session was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Vinod Sharma (HOD, Institute of Management).

BOOK TALK February 2020

The first Book Talk programme of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi-NCR campus on the book ‘Right to Privacy: National and International Scenario’ by Dr. Ramesh Kumar Singh, organized by Library and Information Centre in collaboration with School of Law was held in the Library and Information Centre on 6 February 2020 at 3.00 PM. Dr. Fr. Viju P. D (Director of the campus), Fr. Sunny Joseph (Administrator), Fr. Antony and the faculties and students from different departments were present in the programme. Fr. Viju, Fr. Antony, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Singh (HOD, School of Law) along with the students inaugurated the programme. Fr. Viju conveyed his message to the students and asked Dr. Ramesh Kumar to donate more copies of his book to the Library. Ms. Shradha Sanjeev (Assistant Professor, School of Law) introduced about the author and the book.
