On December 10, 2018, PGDM II, visited Yakult Danone, spread over 8 acres of land of which over 30% is a green belt area. The company manufactures and sells probiotics drinks aimed at contributing to a healthier society. The relationship manager at Yakult elaborated on the working of the distribution channel of the organization and provided in depth information about probiotics and its benefits for people of different age groups. Students witnessed the completely automated, probiotic drink processing inside the plant . Discussions on production, planning, product profile and packaging helped students relate the theoretical concepts learnt in the class  to the actual Industry practices. Report By: Himanshu

On December 10, 2018, students of the Batch 2018-20, visited Celebi an organization that develops, modernizes and finances the existing cargo terminal at IGI Terminal. Mr Ratin Rawal, Assistant Manager- HR & Training, welcomed the students and gave a presentation on the history of Celebi and processes involved in import and export operations. A vibhrant Q&A round witnessed students interacting with the staff at the terminal who patiently helped them to understand the intricacies of the operations. Report By: Anushka Agarwal

An industry visit was organized on 22nd November, 2018 to Anmol Industries at Greater Noida. At Anmol Factory, the PGDM 1 students were guided through the whole process of making biscuits. They were initially taken to the place where the raw materials were unloaded by various vendors and informed about the safety standards they needed to pass before unloading it. The students then witnessed the entire process commencing with the mixing of different raw materials and ending in baking. This was followed by observation of the packing stage of the biscuits. Students appreciated how each and every process was undertaken with utmost care in an environment that was clean and hygienic. It was observed that most activities were being carried on through conveyor belts without much human intervention. An industry visit was organised on 20th November 2018, to Indian Oil Corporation Limited at Brijwasana , Dwarka . It was an initiative of Dr . Akhilesh Tiwari, Associate Professor at CIMG. At IOCL , Mr . Amitabh Verma, Chief Manager , IOCL and Ms . Nisha provided the overview of the industry . They gave the students, an insight into the management of their proceedings and the safety measures in place . Mr . B . S Sharma offered the students a guided tour of the Supply and Distribution Department to understand the software used and the process of recordings of the indents .      The batch then visited the control room to see first-hand the working of the tanks as well as the     controlling mechanisms of the whole plant . They were also allowed to step near the tanks and take a closer view of the truck tanks .
