Industry Visits : Yakult Danone, Sonipat

On December 10, 2018, PGDM II, visited Yakult Danone, spread over 8 acres of land of which over 30% is a
green belt area. The company manufactures and sells probiotics drinks aimed at contributing to a healthier society. The relationship manager at Yakult elaborated on the working of the distribution channel of the organization and provided in depth information about probiotics and its benefits for people of different age groups. Students witnessed the completely automated, probiotic drink processing inside the plant. Discussions on production, planning, product profile and packaging helped students relate the theoretical concepts learnt in the class  to the actual Industry practices.
