Micro enterprise training was held on 25th October. This training was conducted in our CSA project bound colonies in ghaziabad. It was a 6 day program from 25th Oct to 30th Oct, 2018. The trainer for the program was Mrs. Yashoda Nagar , an art and craft trainer at Shanti Dhara, Delhi. The  sessions started by a small demonstration by Mrs Yashoda on  sewing  machine  and   later on  the women were  provided with the materials required for making shoulder bags. The program helped them in developing skills required to pursue some Income Generating Program(IGP) .

On 5th October 2018, Center for Social Activity of CIM, Ghaziabad organized an adolescent health awareness programme at Bombay Colony and Reth Mandi in Ghaziabad. Ms. Pooja Nagar, Staff Nurse of Community Health Center was the resource rerson of the programme. She discussed various hormonal changes faced by females during menstruation and suggested them the preventive measures. Equipping adolescent girls with required information on menstrual hygiene and its management help them empower with the knowledge to augment both their self-esteem and academic performance. Christ Institute of Management, Delhi NCR launched “Center for Social Action” (CSA) on September 04, 2018. CSA is a 'Students Movement for a Humane and Just Society' where student communities are sensit ized on various issues affecting the marginalized sections of society. This event focused on the people living in nearby Slum areas. Dr. Aishwarya Varshney was the chief guest and Sr. Francelin SD graced the event as the guest of honor for the day.  As part of the CSA initiative, Christites also visited Bombay Colony along with a team of medical professionalsled by S r. Edna,Administrator of St Joseph Hospital on 24th September to assist in a free medical camp. Report by: Priya Agrawal
