Industry Visit: Anmol

An industry visit was organized on 22nd November, 2018 to Anmol Industries at Greater Noida.

At Anmol Factory, the PGDM 1 students were guided through the whole process of making biscuits. They were initially taken to the place where the raw materials were unloaded by various vendors and informed about the safety standards they needed to pass before unloading it. The students then witnessed the entire process commencing with the mixing of different raw materials and ending in baking.

This was followed by observation of the packing stage of the biscuits. Students appreciated how each and every process was undertaken with utmost care in an environment that was clean and hygienic. It was observed that most activities were being carried on through conveyor belts without much human intervention.

A blood donation camp, a social Initiative by Anmol Industries sponsored by Rotary club and Lions Club was also organized, in which our students actively participated. This in itself was a unique experience for the students has unlike other industrial visits here they were exposed not just to the marketing, operations and other functional aspects but also to the CSR practices of the organization. This provided the perfect finish to a learning experience.
