Christ Institute of Management is one of  the leading AICTE approved PGDM Institute in Delhi NCR, Organized a visit to the Cargo Service Centre, International Cargo Terminal, IGI Airport, Delhi on 17-Dec-2015. It gave students the opportunity to enrich their knowledge about the Aviation Industry.
This visit was moreover oriented towards the Operations and the documentation work at the Air Cargo Terminal, in terms of the export and import processes. We, students got a real-time opportunity to know the documentation procedure with regard to operations and explore various opportunities in the Logistics and Supply Chain domain.
The students got a chance to interact with the Top Management during the visit- Mrs Jani (Head – Supply Chain Operations) , Mrs Meenakshi Kapoor ( Head - Human Resource and Industrial Relations ), and Mr Mukesh Kumar (Deputy Manager – HR and IR).
They enlightened us about the various career opportunities offered in the industry, the levels of competency and skills required to sustain in the Corporate World. We got an insight about the fun and learning part within the industry and the only thing needed is that how much one can differentiate from other.
We took a Campus tour of the Eco-friendly, Well Managed, Zero- Defect Quality implemented Environment, that has influenced lot many students to opt for career @Cargo Service Centre as an Ideal Starter.
This full day session has helped us in gaining real-time exposure to the corporate world and has helped us gauging knowledge about the management practices at a prestigious International Air Cargo Terminal.
This visit was really a tremendous learning experience for the students.
