Diwali the Festival of Light and Joy – the Joy of Sharing

So this Diwali at Center for Social Action Christ Institute of Management aims to bring light into the lives of differently abled children studying at Anand Bhavan. As we know happiness multiplies when shared. We were able to share the joy of the festival with these kids by buying the candles prepared by them. There were beautifully carved diyas, colorful floating candles. Artistically molded candles had the fragrance of their innocence and creativity. The colourful diyas reflected their skill and all the more their passion to grow and do things on their own.  It was a joy to meet them and motivate  them in their art and skill.

Christites (students of Christ Institute of Management) were very enthusiastic in buying many diyas and candles. It was a reflection of their concern and interest in appreciating the skill and growth of the children. The colourful diyas reflected the brightness of the children’s talents, life and dynamism.  As the festival of Diwali gives us the meaning of sharing and making others life more meaningful and bright, the Christites were joyful that they tried to bring joyous moments in the lives of the children of Anand Bhavan.
