The best way to teach the management education is Strategic Game. Christ Institute of Management, Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad nurtured this process since its inception. The Human Resource club of Christ Institute of Management had arranged a strategic game on 5th August, 2016.
This Activity was organised for PGDM - I & II batches together. The entire faculty members supervised this activity.
Team building
Team working and group activity is very important because it provides a very clear example and idea regarding group activity. Doing a work or a specific job, it provides so many skills. Like
·        Adaptation.
·        Management.
·        Working within diverse culture.
·        Consulting.
·        Learning Manners.
·        Leadership and subordinate Relationship.
·        Information share.
·        Time Management.
·        Attitude.

Team Building game and Christies
This Activity in CIM, Delhi NCR Campus had taught us so many things and had given a real practical exposure. Actually it was a management game. This game plays dual role – one is to refresh our mind and another is Management Learning.
Learning
Christies are always eager to learn and this event gave them a great opportunity to learn a variety of things;

Human Resource Strategy

As per modern strategy, in an organisation to reduce humdrumness some activities beyond the corporate job are introduced. This type of activities supplies Oxygen to mind to keep it sound and refreshed. It may be some indoor game, Sports or any types strategic Game. “Christies” were trying to do the same to give us a corporate type atmosphere. This game was consisting of three events. Those are –
 


Open the Knot - First we were divided into two groups and each group was consisting of seven people. Then we were instructed to hold the other member’s hand in a different and non-structured way which ultimately looked like a critical knot and were supposed to open this knot within a time while handing each other’s hands.    
This game taught us the situation handling and puzzle solving with a proper consultation within group members. It helps to develop our critical thinking also.

Make a Chain -  We were instructed to make a long chain with our own belongings. Among the team member, team with the longest chain will be the winner.

We learnt a crucial aspect of management theory – Resource Allocation. Actually, Resource is very limited in our surroundings and we have to allocate this resource properly to achieve a better outcome. If the strategy of allocating resources is in an effective and efficient manner may lead to the growth and prosperity of the organisation


Tube Game - Last event was tube game in which a rubber tube was given to us with a group of 14 to 15 people. We have to confine all the team members within the group in order to win the game.
This game taught us if there is proper adjustment in a group. Then hurdles are nothing but a part of our life.
We also learnt that we have to optimize anything that may be Raw material, may be financial resource, and may be the time and if proper management is there then organisation on JIT(Just In Time) means  maintaining optimum use of resource, Quality control and be on time. Keep resource as for future.


So, all of these activities taught us to understand team members and make adjustment accordingly to synergize the strength of the group.
