Inauguration of Management Association

The Department of Management Studies inaugurated its Management Association on 19/07/19. The Program was conducted in two phases. Rev.Fr. Dr Viju P.Devassy the Campus Director, Rev.Fr.Sunny Joseph- the campus administrator and Mr. Bishwajit Chaudhary a freelance trainer, were the guests of honor of the program.
A video prepared by the students showcasing the start of their academic journey in the campus was shown. The programme then officially started with the lighting of the lamp accompanied by the invocation hymn by the Department’s Choir. This was followed by the address by Prof. Jeanne Poulose who shared the objectives and activities to be conducted by the association in the future.


Rev.Fr. Dr Viju P Devassy in his inaugural address stressed on the importance of holistic development and the role of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in the all-round development of the students.  Rev. Fr. Sunny Joseph, motivated the students by referring to Alexander the Great and reminded them as to how he had conquered the world at the age that the undergraduate students were in currently. He encouraged students to pursue their goals and dreams.

The students of BBA, BBA(H) and BBA(F&A) then went on to perform a street play on the theme “Swacch Bharat”. Followed by the Play a debate competition that was organised on the topic “Movies- a medium of learning”. Five teams participated in the competition and Dhruv Raghvan from BBA Sec A was adjudged the winner of the event. The Chief Guest, Mr. Bishwajit Chaudhary then addressed the students. He urged the students to incorporate the ethical practices while performing their duties in the corporate world. The ceremony concluded with an informal event in the elevated area in between Block A and Block B. the audience were served a mixture of solo and group performances through the 45 minutes show. Solo and Group Song, Solo and Group Dance, Stand-up act, and a Dance Showdown were performed by the students.


Dr. Sahil Arora were the Event Coordinators. Govind Singh from BBA A and Tarika Rastogi from BBA(F&A) were the Student Event Coordinators.

Blood Donation Camp

As a part of Christ commitment to serve humanity, a blood donation camp was organized by Christ (Deemed to be University) Delhi NCR Campus in association with St. Joseph’s Hospital, Mariam Nagar and Ghaziabad Blood Bank on 6 March 2020 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. A team of 12 doctors and nurses under the supervision of Dr. Kesarvani, Head Ghaziabad blood bank conducted the process of blood collection. Rev. Fr. (Dr.) Viju P Devassy, Campus Director enlightened the students with his words and shared the importance of blood donation. Chief Guest, Dr. Vishav Bandhu Jindal, Medical Superintendent, St. Joseph’s Hospital and President of IMA, Ghaziabad, inaugurated the camp by cutting the ribbon.
