An industry visit was organised on 20th November 2018, to Indian Oil Corporation Limited at Brijwasana , Dwarka . It was an initiative of Dr . Akhilesh Tiwari, Associate Professor at CIMG. At IOCL , Mr . Amitabh Verma, Chief Manager , IOCL and Ms . Nisha provided the overview of the industry . They gave the students, an insight into the management of their proceedings and the safety measures in place . Mr . B . S Sharma offered the students a guided tour of the Supply and Distribution Department to understand the software used and the process of recordings of the indents .      The batch then visited the control room to see first-hand the working of the tanks as well as the     controlling mechanisms of the whole plant . They were also allowed to step near the tanks and take a closer view of the truck tanks . A few teachers and students were invited to be a part of jury at the St. Johns Society Inter School Cultural Meet 2018-19 hosted by St Joseph’s School, Mariam Nagar. The team comprising of Dr. Vinod Sharma, Ms. Jeanne Poulose, Mr. Sanjib Bhattacharjee, Ms. Priya Raj, Ms. Akansha Reji and Ms. Roshine Samuel were delighted to judge the declamation and speech competitions for junior and senior students. S ports club of CIM “Chris-spo” organised an 8 player Football Tournament for girls and boys on 17th November ’18 in the campus. The tournament began with the girls’ match where juniors battled against their seniors followed by the inter-house match between the boys. The faculty coordinator for sports, Dr. Vinod Sharma inaugurated the tournament and initiated the toss for both the matches. After a very tough fight, the girls from PGDM2 beat PGDM1. Amongst the boys, the combination team of Kotler and Porter gave a tough fight to Drucker and Smith and won the match.
